Migration Guide

Preface

In every new release, XL Deploy may deprecate some functionality. This means that the functionality is still there, but is scheduled for a later (usually the next) major release. Deprecations may take place in all areas of XL Deploy, and this may impact you when you upgrade: e.g. scripts you have written may need to be updated so they will still be usable in the next major release.

In order to make the transition as smooth as possible, all deprecations are listed in the upgrade manual under the version-specific upgrade notes. As an extra help, this document will give guidance on how to migrate your scripts, API calls, etc.
